Frequently asked questions

Open banking means that third parties can use banks' APIs to build new software solutions and services. These new solutions and services are for the benefit of you as a customer. An example of a service could be an app that aggregates your activity in several banks, or a service that compares prices. There is no limit to what can be achieved and we invite you to build your service on top of our data and infrastructure.

The EU issued the PSD2 regulation which ensures that banks offer a way to enable third party providers to work with the bank's services and data on behalf and with consent of their customer. The regulation does not explicitly state that banks need to use APIs to meet the PSD2 requirements but most have chosen that way to move forward to join the future of open banking.

Most of the services we offer today are open to everyone and do not require a permission. However, Kass requires an access token that needs to be requested specifically. We accept applications through the email [email protected] . To speed up the process please explain in the email how you intend to use the service.
